The day we went to look for the treasures of Real de Catorce,
we found abandoned mines
and wild donkeys.
We crossed mountain passes,
and encounterd wild animals,
until we found the treasure we were looking for: Peyote!
It had to be tried 🙂
Later we reached the holy site of the local natives,
and prayed for rain, like the local Huichole do. Miraculously, it worked!
Wirikuta, Cerro del quemado de los Huicholes!
On the way back we meet a horsethief (this is Mexico 😉 )
and enjoy more of the beautiful scenery.
After a long, eventful day on horseback we returned to Real de Catorce.
It was on of the best days in my life!
