Volcan de Colima with grazing cows, Mexico

06/02/2017
Volcan de Colima with a great cloud and grazing cows in the afternoon sun

This is the second part of my Volcan de Colima adventure. I have decided to change my “principles” and tell more than one story, or to take more than one picture of the same volcano since I haven’t shown it to you yet.

What you see here are cows ruminating. If there is a heaven for a cow it must be A: in Kobe, Japan or be B: on the slopes of the Volcan de Colima. I thought about the holy cows of India; maybe they get a second chance and become reincarnated in Mexico. I have not tried, but I am almost certain that the grass in Colima is delicious and ruminating with this view must be joyful for sure. Obviously, I will never know, but I like to think that the cows enjoy the sight of the eruptions as much as I do.
