Volcan Santiaguito is one of the three active volcanoes in Guatemala. It is an offspring of Santa Maria Volcano and made history when it entered the world with a “Big Bang” in 1902.
Since my blog is called “Lavalover”, I thought it made sense to pay a visit. Unfortunately, it was not a real “lava” experience but I got a picture of Santiaguito releasing a bit of early morning steam.
